VFA ParcAir
Effectively removes (ultra)fine particles and micro-pollutants using electrostatic technology
Benefits of VFA ParcAir
Very low pressure drop: No unnecessary energy loss or strain on the ventilation system
Fully independent of existing ventilation: Can be easily installed behind exhaust vents
High efficiency (>90%) in capturing (ultra)fine particles and micro-pollutants
Modular design: Flexible application per floor or section
Low maintenance: Robust construction designed for minimal service intervention
Fire-safe & RWA-compliant: Filter fully opens in the event of fire or maximum ventilation mode

What is VFA ParcAir effective against?
VFA ParcAir is designed to filter:
(Ultra)fine particles (PM2.5, PM1, and smaller)
Microbiological contaminants (such as fungi and bacteria)
Emission particles from vehicles in parking garages
Particles generated from wear and motion (e.g. brake dust, tire wear)
The system is specifically developed for use in parking garages and similar environments where air is discharged through ventilation shafts and emissions need to be controlled.
How does VFA ParcAir work?
VFA ParcAir technology consists of three core components:
Corona Ionization:
High-voltage needles generate an electric field that charges airborne particles (ionization).
This ensures efficient charging of (ultra)fine dust and microbiological particles.
Electrostatic Collectors:
The charged particles are attracted to collectors with an open, static medium.
These capture the particles without obstructing airflow.
The system achieves over 90% efficiency, even for PM1.
Smart Control System:
Monitors the performance of the ionization and filter status
Sends alerts when collectors need replacement
Optional integration with building management systems (BMS)
Automatically adapts to fire or emergency ventilation modes (filter opens fully)
Application Areas
Parking garages (open or closed, underground or above ground)
Buildings with ventilation shafts where dust and emissions must be controlled
Environments requiring fire safety and RWA compliance
Facilities needing independent air filtration separate from the main ventilation system
VFA ParcAir is particularly well suited for projects where air filtration solutions must be integrated without major modifications to the existing ventilation infrastructure.
