VFA provides professional air purification for industrial processes. Since we are not the first and not the only one to offer industrial air cleaners, VFA has tailored its solutions to fit this segment in a unique way. Our R&D department has been able to merge effectiveness with flexibility and low cost of ownership.

Welding fumes, coarse & powder dust, (ultra)fine particles, chemical compounds, moulds & fungi, damps(gluing, painting etc.) and odours are permanently and safely removed with a very high efficiency.

Our products can be used for mobile applications, fixed modular applications and integrated applications (part of a central extraction system or end of pipe solution). All products are both suitable for source extraction as for room cleaning. Our technicians will advise you on the most suitable application.

Low cost of ownership

As a result of very low pressure drop, energy consumption is at a minimum. Since filtered air can be redistributed throughout the building, heat loss is prevented. Furthermore our solutions are designed to allow easy maintenance and low operational costs.

The use of our solutions can guarantee the reduction of airborne pollutants and hence contribute to better working sphere and comply to (future) norms and legislation.

What can VFA air purifiers offer you?

  • Removing fine dust from the air (for working conditions guidelines)
  • Preventing odors (for working conditions guidelines and comfort)
  • Preventing emissions (of dust and odor)
  • Filtration optimisation
  • Energy saving
  • Indoor climate improvement (HVAC)
  • Extraction and ventilation

Common air quality issues in the metallurgy industry and our solutions

Polluted indoor air

Indoor pollution is often less harmful than outdoor pollution. However, in some industries indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air as a result of indoor activities such as welding or air pollution by equipment. Therefore, in some industries, it might be rewarding to clean indoor air in order to meet certain emission standards.

Metal fumes

Metal fumes consists for the majority out of particulate matter and for a small part out of gas. Metal fumes are often very harmful for a human being. Welding fumes and mercury fumes in particular, are highly dangerous for mankind. As a solution, VFA Solutions offers hoods and specifically designed solutions to remove these harmful vapours from the air.

Polluted outdoor air

As most metallurgy industries are located near highways, it is a challenge to maintain sufficient ventilation without harming employees and visitors with air pollutants from outside. Prevent this from happening by purifying outdoor air before transporting it indoors and by recirculating and purifying the air in the room.

Reduce maintenance costs

All businesses care about maintenance costs. All VFA Solutions products offer easy and low cost maintenance. The collector parts are easy to replace and are more economical than a comparable HEPA filter.

Unpleasant smells

Undesirable and unwanted smells can be very annoying for visitors and personnel. Depending on the severity of the odours VFA has various solutions to either eliminate or absorb the smells.
