Air pollution 7 million deathsThe World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that in 2012 7 million people died due to air pollution. This is one-eighth of the total number of deaths per year. The WHO writes: “This finding more than doubles previous estimates and confirms that air pollution is now the world’s largest single environmental health risk. Reducing air pollution could save millions of lives.”.

As technology evolves, air pollution can be measured better and there is increasing awareness about the diseases caused by air pollution. This makes the new figures more reliable and more accurate.

Air pollution causes many premature deaths, but it also results in health costs going up worldwide. Air pollution is after all causing cardiovascular diseases, strokes, COPD, asthma, lung cancer and acute respiratory infections in children.

Reducing air pollution in your own home or workplace, will drastically reduce air pollution exposure. On average, people spend 90% of their day indoors. By removing air pollutants such as particulate matter, traffic emissions, bacteria, viruses, pollen, gases and odours from nearby industry, from the air, the air quality will improve and one will be exposed to less air pollution.

The air cleaners of VFA Solutions remove 99% of particles (such as fine dust, traffic emissions, bacteria, etc.) from the air and are also able to efficiently remove gases and odours from the air. Offering you clean and healthy air. Air Cleaning of VFA Solutions can be applied in various ways:

      • Recirculation air cleaning
A separate air cleaner that cleans the air in a room and recirculates it. Applicable if you do not have a (supply) ventilation system.
      • INduct air cleaning
The air purifier is placed in the ventilation duct and cleans the air in the ventilation duct. Depending on the placement of the air purifier, a single room or an entire building can be provided with clean and healthy air.
      • Ventilation including air cleaning
By replacing the existing ventilation system or build into new construction, depending on the deployment, a single room or an entire building will be provided with clean and healthy air.
